Join us for our hands-on, practical 5 day workshop that will give you a strong working knowledge of using cement as a medium to create hand-carved cement art.
The workshop is comprehensive and will cover the following key elements:
1) Methodology of cement mixes, ratios and materials
2) Preparation proccess of various surfaces and murals
3) Template design, cutting and preparation
4) Surface preparation for cement carved tile
5) Carving tegniques
6) Curing, finishing and paint tegniques
Included in the course fee is a full starter tool kit that students can take home
All workshop material are also included in in the fee
Snacks, a light lunch and beverages will be served every day
Course presented by renowned cement artist, Grietjie Lee
Classes will be from 9am to 3pm every day
